The meeting was called to order and the minutes of the last meeting were
approved.
Steve Ackerman appeared before the Board to request sign approval for
208 Linden St. The sign reads "U.S. Antiques —Antique Furniture & Brass
Cash Registers". It has a tan background with black lettering. Peter Barnes
stated that the sign complies with the City of Fort Collins sign code. Glenda
McCall made motion to approve the sign. Janet Scott seconded the motion.
MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY.
Jim Reidhead presented drawings for a new store front and awning at 238
E. Mountain Ave. He explained that it was. not a restoration, just a new
store front for Ace Liquors. The brick has orange highlights. A brown
hollow metal storefront with a beige(1120),true brown(1121), and
terrecotta(1122) awning will be installed. No sign application was submitted
at this time. Janet Scott made motion to approve the storefront and awning.
Carol Tunner seconded the motion. MOTION CARRIED.
Election of Vice Chairperson was held. Carol Tunner made motion to
nominate Wayne Sundberg. Janet Scott seconded the motion. MOTION
CARRIED.
