Staff Liaison: Aimee Jensen A regular meeting of the Liquor Licensing Authority was held on September 10, 2007 in Municipal Court, Justice Center, 215 North Mason. Judge Kathleen M. Lane presiding. Staff in attendance: Teresa Ablao, Assistant City Attorney Aimee Jensen, Deputy City Clerk Agenda Review Deputy City Clerk Jensen stated there has been no change to the agenda. Transfer of Ownership of Liquor Depot, 356 East Harmony Road, Unit #6 from Harmony Mrkt Wine/Liquor Depot, Inc., to S & C Investments, Inc., and Trade Name Change to Crystal's Liquor, Approved Sapoon Kapoor, representative for S & C Investments, hic., stated he has held several liquor licenses and has had only one liquor code violation. Mr. Kapoor stated he is TIP's trained and requires that all his employees be TIP's trained also. He stated he has not changed the premise or the hours of operation. Mr. Kapoor stated any employee found in violation of the liquor code will be immediately terminated. Judge Lane approved the transfer of ownership of Liquor Depot, 356 East Harmony Road, Unit #6 from Harmony Mrkt Wine/Liquor Depot, Inc., to S & C Investments, Inc., and Trade Name Change to Crystal's Liquor. Hearing on a New Application from Wildrock Caf6, LLC, for a Beer and Wine License at Wildrock Caf& 2631 South College Avenue, Approved Lawrence Casperson, representative for Wildrock Cafe, LLC, was sworn. He stated he has worked in the restaurant business all his working life. Mr. Casperson stated he currently has a restaurant. He stated that the emphasis of this establishment is food. Mr. Casperson stated he anticipates his liquor sales of being 3-5% of gross sales. In response to questions from the Authority, Mr. September 10, 2007 Casperson briefly described the diagram. He stated the main entrance is on the south side of the building. Mr. Casperson stated any patron that appears to be under the age of 30 will be carded. He stated he has had no liquor code violations. Mr. Casperson stated that the petitions showed support for his application. Judge Lane adopted Resolution 2007-16 approving the beer and wine license at Wildrock Caf6, 2631 South College Avenue. Show Cause Hearing for Hung Hang, dba Little Saigon Caf6, 3500 South College Avenue, Penalty Imposed Judge Lane noted that the Licensee, Hung Hang, did not appear for this hearing. Senior Assistant Attorney Ablao and Deputy City Clerk Jensen stated Mr. Hang had been notified of this hearing. Senior Assistant City Attorney Ablao requested the Judge impose a 15 daypenalty to be served upon written notice. Judge Lane accepted the order as presented for Hung Hang, dba Little Saigon Caf6, 3500 South College Avenue. Adjournment The meeting adjourned at 1:41 p.m. Municipal Judge
