Salaries for Fort Collins Jobs • $59,114 Agenda Item 4 — Discussion of NCEDC presentation: Members discussed and exchanged views on how NCEDC is in alignment with the EAC mission and City of Fort Collins economic development initiatives. Furthermore, discussion focused on how the City of Fort Collins can partner with NCEDC to achieve commons goals and further implement the City's Economic Action Plan. Careful consideration about whether a specific dollar amount, a range or any number at all is recommended to City Council. The following motion was passed with the unanimous agreement that they would all consider the wording of the motion and allow amendments to wording at their next meeting. Hach motioned that The Economic Advisory Commission recommends that the City Council provide funding for the Northern Colorado Economic Development Corporation in the 2008 budget in the amount of $30,000 to $50,000 and that the City enter into a memorandum of understanding that outlines the programs and services the City is seeking from the NCEDC. The Economic Advisory Commission further recommends that the City specifically support the following programs and services the NCEDC provides: The regional economist Support for Fort Collins' cluster development Support for the Fort Collins Technology Incubator Business retention and expansion services Industry data collection and surveys Febvre second, and motion passed 7-1 with Rick Price abstained.
