Agenda Item 1 — Meeting Call to Order
Meeting called to order 11:08 a.m.

Agenda Item 2 — Approval of Minutes
Approval of minutes 07/17 and 07/31 postponed to September 18, 2007 meeting
Agenda Item 3 — Consideration of future agenda items
The EAC decided they would invite Maury Dobbie and NCEDC to present their October
9,2007 City Council proposal to the commission September 18, 2007 with greater
specifics of their work, progress, data, objectives and successes over the past few years.
After NCEDC's presentation, the EAC hopes to ask hard questions and make a
recommendation to City Council.
Agenda Item 4 — Discussion of Economic Health and Sustainability
Large discussion focused on understanding NCEDC's role as an economic development
agency and whether their proposal to city council October 9, 2007 is economically
beneficial to a healthy and sustainable Fort Collins economy. The EAC continues to
individually develop a Fort Collins Healthy Economy purpose statement for City Council
with wording that is to be fairly high level and not too detailed to fairly represent diverse
views.
Agenda Item 5 — Discuss next meeting time, location and agenda
Next meeting is scheduled for Sept 18, 2007 City Hall CIC Room
