There were present: 1PRESENT Staff: Also: Earl Wilkinson, Chairman presiding Ray Dixon Dave McCarry Barbara Schofield Jim Reidhead Art March Dan Larsen Larry Estrada Barbara Rutstein, alternate Pill Kingsbury, Executive Director Kathy Field Chip Steiner Gene Miller Tim Robley Curt Smith Greg Denton Bob Lee Absent were: ABSENT Chuck Wanner Earl Wilkinson called the meeting to order and requested adoption of MINUTES the minutes of March 21, 1985. Dave McCarry, seconded by Barbara Schofield, so moved. .1 • 9 The Board discussed whether to blast track the entire top surface of the garage or only those individual panels which need correction. Barbara Rutstein, seconded by Barbara Schofield, moved that the entire surface be done. There were no dissenting votes. It was suggested by Jim Reidhead that a summary statement be issued to dispel any lingering doubts about the safety of the garage by explaining that the concrete problem was considered on a "worst case" scenario which got progressively better. The City departments in charge of maintenance of the parking facility were identified: landscaping, Parks and Recreation; the garage, Transportation Services; the office, Facilities. Barbara Schofield, seconded by Ray Dixon, moved that the Board go into Executive Session to discuss legal matters. Both Earl Wilkinson and Art March withdrew from discussion.
