Present: Dennis Baker, Anne Berry, Harry Edwards, Dave Evans, Jim Dubler, Chris
Kahler, Glenn Strunk
Absent: None
Staff: Lt. Jim Broderick FCPS.
The meeting was called to order at 1:00 by Chair Harry Edwards
Pending Case 2007-05:
The desire previously for FCPS was to move forward with 2007-05 (a self referenced
Police case). The chief wants to wait so we will wait. Since there is no complainant,
there is no timeline started that must be abided by. The criminal case may be completed
today, so we should receive it soon. The subcommittee talked about reviewing the case
after the August meeting, but no final decision was made.
August Meeting:
During discussion of 2005-07, it became apparent that several CRB members would be
out of town on August 8'h, the normal date for the next CRB meeting. More members
would be available on August 15t". Dennis motioned to change the date to August 15`h
Glenn seconded. Vote was 7-0 in favor of changing the date.
Pending Case 2007-03:
August 1 g`h is the Police deadline to deliver this case. It will be ready to be delivered in
the next week or two. The subcommittee discussed perhaps reviewing it at the
September meeting, but no final decision was made.
Minutes:
The only correction was to correct Chris's last name. Dennis motioned to accept the
minutes as corrected. Chris seconded. Vote was 7-0 to accept the corrected minutes.
Public Input: None. No members of the public were present.
Adjournment: Glenn moved to adjourn the meeting. Dennis seconded the motion. All
were in favor. The meeting adjourned at 1:15 p.m.
Next Meeting: Wednesday, August 15, 2007, 6 p.m., CIC Room, 300 Laporte Avenue.
