A special meeting of the Cultural Resources Board was held on Thursday, March 8, 2007 at 12 p.m.
The following members were present:
Board Members present: Jack Steele, Patrick Moran, Carol Ann Hixon,
Sue Beck-Ferkiss, and Ann Wilmsen
Board Members absent: Diane Gaede, Susan Marshall
Staff Members present: Jill Stilwell, Cheryl Donaldson, Marty Heffernan
Guests Present: Jim Clark, Cathy Jones, Fort Collins Convention and Visitors Bureau
(FCCCVB)
Call to Order - (12:11 p.m.) Mr. Moran
H. Consideration of agenda — Mr. Steele requested clarification on Section IV.E. The three workshops the
Board will be discussing are "So you want a Fort Fund Grant...", introducing Tier 4 to potential
applicants, and business support for the arts.

IV. Discuss CRB's Level of Community and Intergovernmental Involvement
A. Ms. Donaldson presented an overview of the Fort Collins Museum/Discovery Science Center
partnership.
B. Ms. Donaldson and Mr. Heffernan updated the Board on the potential site for the new museum
facility.
C. Ms. Stilwell presented an overview of the recommendations from Webb Management Services
regarding future cultural facility needs.
D. The Discussion on Coordination with Arts Alive was tabled to the next meeting.
E. The discussion on the Information Workshops was tabled to the next meeting.
F. Mr. Clark from the FCCVB informed the Board of the FCCVB's intention to host a seminar for
the arts community regarding their on-line calendar and marketing efforts. They would like the
CRB to be involved.
