LIQUOR LICENSING AUTHORITY MINUTES
Regular Meeting - October 16, 2006

A regular meeting of the Liquor Licensing Authority was held on October 16, 2006 in Municipal
Court, Justice Center, 201 LaPorte. Judge Kathleen M. Lane presiding.
Staff in attendance: Teresa Ablao, Assistant City Attorney
Aimee Jensen, Deputy City Clerk
Agenda Review
Deputy City Clerk Jensen stated there are no changes to the agenda.
Approval of Minutes
Judge Lane approved the minutes from September 18, 2006.
Approval of 2007
Liquor Licensing Authority Schedule
Judge Lane approved the 2007 Liquor Licensing Authority Schedule.
Registration of Timothy Hay
as Manager of Texas Roadhouse,
4633 South Timberline Road, Approved
Timothy Hay, manager applicant, stated he has attended TIPs training twice. He stated he will attend
Liquor Enforcement Officer's training. Mr. Hay stated he has received extensive training through
Texas Roadhouse. He stated he has 4 assistant managers on premise at all times. Mr. Hay stated
all employees receive TIPs training every 3 months. He stated patrons that appear to be 30 and
younger are carded. Mr. Hay stated any employee found in violation of the liquor code is
immediately terminated. He stated they have a current copy of the liquor code on premise.
Judge Lane approved the registration of Timothy Hay as manager of Texas Roadhouse, 4633 South
Timberline Road.

Hearing on a New Application
from Luscious Nectar Corp.,
for a Hotel -Restaurant Liquor License
at Luscious Nectar, 222 Linden Street,
Hearing Postponed to November 27, 2006
Jeremy Kempter and Peter Andrews, representatives for Luscious Nectar Corp., were sworn. Mr.
Kempter stated they will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m. and will serve breakfast, lunch and
dinner. He stated they will be serving sandwiches until 1:00 a.m. Mr. Kempter stated they anticipate
the sale of food to be 50% of gross sales. He stated he will modify the current diagram to correctly
reflect what the licensed premise is.
Judge Lane postponed the hearing to November 27, 2006 to allow the applicant to submit an updated
diagram.
Adjournment
The meeting adjourned at 1:35 p.m.
