Staff Liaison: Aimee Jensen A regular meeting of the Liquor Licensing Authority was held on February 26, 2007 in Municipal Court, Justice Center, 201 LaPorte. Judge Kathleen M. Lane presiding. Staff in attendance: Teresa Ablao, Assistant City Attorney Aimee Jensen, Deputy City Clerk Robert Younger, Liquor Enforcement Officer Agenda Review Deputy City Clerk Jensen stated there are no changes to the agenda. Registration of Christina Jessen as Manager of Residence Inn by Marriott - Fort Collins, 1127 Oakridge Drive, Approved Christina Jessen, manager applicant, stated she will be TIP's trained. She stated she supervises 25 employees and that 7 of those employees are involved with the sale and service of alcohol. Ms. Jessen stated they card every patron and that it is their policy to not serve a patron if they do not have proper identification. Judge Lane approved Christina Jessen as manager of Residence Inn by Marriott - Fort Collins,1127 Oakridge Drive. Approval of Minutes Judge Lane approved the minutes from January 22, 2007 and February 5, 2007. 1-1 February 26, 2007 Registration of Cori Brohl as Manager of Sanford's Grub and Pub, 200 West Jefferson, Approved Cori Brohl, manager applicant, stated she directly supervises the staff as well as all the bartending. She stated she has received training for identifying under age and visibly intoxicated patrons. Ms. Brohl stated she supervises 35 employees, of which 12 are involved in the sale and service of alcohol. She stated she is on premise 52 hours a week. Ms. Brohl stated all staff will receive TIP's training at the end of March. She stated all patrons are carded. Ms. Brohl stated she has a current copy of the liquor code on premise. Judge Lane approved Cori Brohl as manager of Sanford's Grub and Pub, 200 West Jefferson. Transfer of Ownership of The Starlight, 167-169 North College Avenue, from FC5, Inc., to Lazy Dog, LLC and Trade Name Change to Hodi's Half Note, Approved William Bruschke, representative for Lazy Dog, LLC, stated he will not be on premise daily. He stated his manager, Nicklas Kirkes-Myers, will be responsible for the day to day operations. Mr. Bruschke stated all his staff will receive training by the end of March. He stated they are only making cosmetic changes to the premise. Judge Lane approved the transfer of ownership of The Starlight, 167-169 North College Avenue, from FC5, Inc., to Lazy Dog, LLC and trade name change to Hodi's Half Note. Registration of Nicklas Kirkes-Myers as Manager of Hodi's Half Note, 167-169 North College Avenue, Approved Nicklas Kirkes-Myers, manager applicant, stated he will be supervising 10 employees. He briefly reviewed his background. Mr. Kirkes stated all patrons will be carded. He stated he has a current copy of the liquor code on premise. Judge Lane approved the registration of Nicklas Kirkes-Myers as manager of Hodi's HalfNote,167- 169 North College Avenue. Transfer of Ownership of Jasmine Garden, 2721 South College Avenue, from Huang's Brother Corp., to LiujianE, LLC, Approved Zhaoyu Liu, representative for Liujiang, LLC, through an interpreter, stated the previous owner is 2 February 26, 2007 training him in the sale and service of alcohol. He stated they have not made any physical changes to the premise. Assistant City Attorney Ablao requested that an interpreter be present at any training they receive. Judge Lane approved the transfer of ownership of Jasmine Garden, 2721 South College Avenue, from Huang's Brother Corp., to Liujiang, LLC, contingent upon Zhaoyu Liu receiving training in the sale and service of alcohol with 60 days and proof be provided to the City Clerk's Office. Registration of Xixia Jiang as Manager of Jasmine Garden, 2721 South College Avenue, Approved Xixia Jiang, manager applicant, through an interpreter, briefly described her background. She stated she has received training in the sale and service of alcohol at her previous place of employment. Ms. Jiang stated she supervises 7 employees, 3 of which are directly involved in the sale and service of alcohol. She stated all patrons are carded and that she has a current copy of the liquor code on premise. Judge Lane approved Xixia Jiang as manager of Jasmine Garden, 2721 South College Avenue, contingent upon attending training within 60 days and that proof be provided to the City Clerk's Office.
