I. Call to order. 3:36 p.m. — Mr. Russell
H. Consideration of the current agenda
III. Review of Minutes from the meeting on April 18, 2007
Mr. Needham made a motion to approve the Minutes
Ms. Liska Smith seconded the motion
Unanimously Approved
IV. Citizen Participation: None
V. Design Consultant Submission Review:
Ms. Liska Smith made a motion to accept 10 artists for the Design Consultant Resource List.
Ms. Francuz seconded the motion
Unanimously Approved
VI. Review Old Town Locations:
Ms. Martin and Ms. Stilwell presented large city maps to the board of potential locations for future Art in Public Places
projects. All potential sites are areas in the Old Town area that are owned by the City of Fort Collins. Ms. Stilwell gave a
brief background to the presentation and Ms. Martin handed out APP project maps to the board of where current art
pieces are located around the city. Discussion was had among the board members.
VII. Staff Reports:
Ms. Martin distributed staff reports with an update on APP projects since the April meeting.
VII.Other Business:
A special APP meeting will be offered to the board. Dates and times will be emailed to board members by APP staff.
APP staff shared with the board members areas on the City's main web page that the community can link to the APP
web site. Also, the board shared several additional marketing techniques that could help increase APP awareness in the
community.
Future meetings with the board will include the Spring Canyon CommunityPark review, Transformer Cabinets review,
and a discussion on the APP process.
