Robotham Rudy Baldivia Sheila Hendrick John Batson Rosemary Fentres Staff Members Present: Brunton, March and Lewis City Attorney March reviewed the four items with which the Authority would be concerned: 1. New Applications A. Fermented Malt Beverages B. Malt, Vinous or spiritous liquors 2. Renewal applications 3. Regulatory and revocations 4. Administrative The members of the Authority then elected Mr. Donald W. Robotham to serve as temporary chairman and considered and acted on the three pending renewals as follows. 1. Renewal Application for 3.2% Fermented Malt Beverage License for Round the Corner Restaurant 1221 West Elizabeth Street, Approved. City Attorney March reviewed the contents of the file and the Pbliee Department report, which was negative. It was moved by Sheila Hendrick, seconded by Rudy Baldivia to approve the renewal application for a 3.2% Fermented Malt Beverage License for Round the Corner Restaurant. The Chairman put the question which was unanimously adopted. 2. Renewal Application for 3.2% Fermented Malt Beverage License for E1 Burrito Cafe, 404 Linden Street, Approved. City Attorney March reviewed the contents of the file and the Police Department report, which was negative. It was moved by Rudy Baldivia, seconded by Sheila Hendrick to approve the renewal application for a 3.2% Fermented Malt Beverage License for E1 Burrito Cafe, 404 Linden Street. The Chairman put the question which was unanimously adopted. 0 Page 2 3. Renewal Application for 3.2% Fermented Malt Beverage License for Pine Tavern, 244 Pine Street, Approved. City Attorney March reviewed the contents of the file and the Police Department report, which was negative. It was moved by Sheila Hendrick, seconded by Rudy Baldivia to approve the renewal application for a 3.2% Fermented Malt Beverage License for Pine Tavern, 244 Pine Street. The Chairman put the question which was unanimously adopted. City Attorney March reviewed the items to be considered by the Authority at the meeting of September 6, 1973, as follows: 1. Final hearing for a Beer and Wine License by Bel Air, Inc. dba Giuseppe's, 354 Walnut Street. 2. New Application for a Hotel -Restaurant Liquor License, with extended hours by Seven Seas Ltd., 181 North College Avenue, currently holding a 3.2% Fermented Malt Beverage License. 3. Transfer of ownership of a 3.2% Fermented Malt Beverage License for the Green Onion, 162 Linden Street. 4. New application for a Retail Liquor Store by West Prospect Liquors, 310 West Prospect. (At request of Jack Vahrenwald this item has been withdrawn at this time, 8-30-73, 3:30 p.m. VL) City Manager Brunton stated that since a hearing was advertised for September 6, 1973, at 6:30 P.M., perhaps the members could convene at 6:15 P.M. to elect officers and reconvene for the meeting in the office of the Director of Finance on the first floor of the City Hall. At that time the Authority will also schedule a meeting time. City Manager Brunton stated copies of the Rules of Procedure and other materials will be delivered to members of the Authority on September 5, 1973, prior to the meeting of September 6, 1973. There being no further business on which the Authority could act, the meeting adjourned at 8:30 P.M. City Clerk
