Council Liaison: Ray Martinez II Staff Liaison: Aimee Jensen A regular meeting of the liquor licensing Authority was held on Monday, May 1, 2000, in Municipal Court, 123 North College. Judge Kathleen M. Lane presiding. Staff in attendance: Greg Tempel, Assistant CityAttorney Richard Johnson, Liquor Enforcement Officer Aimee Jensen, Deputy City Clerk Agenda Review Deputy City Clerk Jensen noted that the Modification of Premise application for Tailgate Tommy's application has been withdrawn. She stated that the manager registration of Tobin Kiely, with B & Bs Pickle Barrel, has been postponed to the May 15, 2000 meeting. Request from Fiddlestiks Enterprises, LLC, dba Fiddlestiks Dessert Cafe & Bakery, 250 East Harmony # F-2, to Change, Alter, or Modify the Licensed Premises Approved David Daggett, owner, briefly described the proposed modifications. He stated since the sidewalk is private property, the City's Building Inspection and Engineering offices do not have jurisdiction over this change. Judge Lane approved the modification of premise for Fiddlestiks Dessert Cafe & Bakery, 250 East Harmony # F-2. Hearing on a New Application from Kardona Corporation for a Hotel -Restaurant Liquor License at Giovanni's Trattoria, 1027 West Horsetooth Approved Assistant City Attorney Tempel stated the deficiencies in the application have been corrected. Karen Peterson, applicant, was sworn. She briefly described her background. Ms. Peterson stated she has not served alcohol and is putting together a training manual. She stated the head bartender is TIP's certified. Ms. Peterson noted that the exit off the deck is an emergency exit only. She stated the deck is visible from inside the restaurant. Ms. Peterson stated she will participate in the day-to-day operations. She stated she will obtain a copy of the liquor code. 0 May 1, 2000 Ms. Peterson described the petitioning process. She stated she obtained 249 signatures, of which 225 are in support of this application. Ms. Peterson stated that 12 people with an abhorrence to liquor refused to sign the petition. Deputy City Clerk Jensen stated she struck several signatures as they were outside the established boundaries. Judge Lane adopted Resolution 2000-07 approving the application from Kardona Corporation for a Hotel -Restaurant Liquor License at Giovanni's Trattoria, 1027 West Horsetooth. Other Business Judge Lane adopted Resolution 2000-08 retiring previouslyadopted Liquor Licensing Authoritybylaws. Adjournment Municipal Judge 2
