MEETING MINUTES

Attendance: Susan Williams, Steve Rierson, Joanie Cook, Peggy Graff, Beverly Hageseth,
Bill Livingston, Terry Schlicting
City Staff Liaisons: Absent
1. Call to Order: The meeting was called to order at 12:15 p.m.
2. Approval of Minutes of the May 11, 2006 Meeting.
P. Graff made a motion to approve the minutes of the May 11, 2006 meeting. B.
Hageseth second. Motion carried.
3. Introductions: No guests present.
4. Open Discussion General Public: None.
5. New Business
Susan stated Larimer County would be attending next months meeting to
demonstrate the new touch screen voting machines. She stated there has been
some controversy over the new machines as some people feel they do not meet
ADA requirements. Susan also stated someone from the Coloradoan would
also be attending the demonstration.

7. Subcommittee Reports
Art Show: Joanie delivered the survey, mailing list and return envelopes to
Annie who will mail out the survey.
Mayor's Awards/Event: Beverly was appointed to the Mayor's Awards sub
committee. Joanie will talk to Annie about scheduling a sub committee
meeting on June 22. A suggestion was made to see if we could find a sponsor
to buy the Mayor's Awards plaques.
Heavy Doors: No report. Joanie will pick up information from Susan and
bring to next Commission meeting.
8. Community News and Updates: Beverly made mention of the grant that the
Disabled Resources Services for Latimer County received from the Helen K. and
Arthur E. Johnson Foundation in the amount of $10,000. She didn't know what the
money would be used for but contact information in Fort Collins is 482-2700 and
Loveland is 667-0816.
Terry has not been in contact with Mark Beck as yet regarding PHA. He is still
waiting to hear from Mark.
9. Adjourn:
Motion: Bill Livingston made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 1:20 p.m. Terry
Schlicting second. Motion carried.
