RE: Notes from the June 10, 1976 Meeting
I. Called to order at 7:50 p.m. in City Council chambers, 300 W. La Porte
Avenue, Fort Collins, by Acting Chairperson Ben Napheys.
II. Present were:

III. With no quorum present, the following items were discussed informally:
The Commission expressed their gratitude to Sam Van Why and Dave Moore,whose
membership terms end this month, for their membership and contributions.
Sam Van Why presented his research on the prevention of delinquency with the
basic position that curfews are not the answer in that they are selectively
enforced and they do not attack the causes of delinquency. qu ncy.
The Police Department's position on the curfew was clarified: "No need for
changes in the Ordinance and it should not be abolished."
