FORT COLLINS HUMAN RELATIONS COMMISSION
July 2, 1973
A special meeting of the Fort Collins Human Relations Commission was
held in the Friendship Room of the Municipal Building at 7:30 p.m., July 2, 1973.
Members present:

Mr. Luke Long
Mrs. Pernie Atherly
Mrs. David Moore
Mr. John McGraw
Mr. Jerry Templer
Mr. David Osborn
Mr. Will Scarborough
Chairman Baird advised that this special meeting was called to make
our selections from the proposed new members to fill vacancies on the Commission.
He suggested we use the list of names furnished by the Council,and the Commission
made the following selections under the different areas of representation.
Business Community; Mr. John Clifford
Mr. Carmel Salono
Education Community: Mr. Bruce Russell
Mr. Dick Yates
Mx. Dave Vomacka
Housing Agents: Mr. James Nichol
Mr. Neff Casaburri
Employment Agents: None
Youth Community: Mr. David Moore, Jr.
Leigh Adams
Professional Community;. Mostly covered by present membership
Darlene Hinkle
Minority Community: Victor Bueno
Charlotte Ortega
Elderly; Mrs. Fern Douglas
Women: Sister Elizabeth Dyer
Public Relations: Mike Butler
Father Ed Osterlag
Law Enforcement: None
so
These names are to be forwarded to the Council for their selection to
fill the six vacancies.
Seymour Graham suggested he write a letter of thanks to the editor
of the Coloradoan and to Mrs. Hunsucker for her help in writing the article about
the HRC. Dr. Preble seconded; motion carried.
The next meeting will be held Wednesday evening at 7:30 p.m., July 11,
1973, in the City Council Chambers.
