I. Minutes approved as corrected.
II. Committee Reports
A. Committee of Executive Delegation (CED) - Steve Francis
Reported on conversation with Steve Roy pertaining to action of
HRC to proposed change in ordinance concerning sexual preference.
B. EEO/AA - No report
C. Police — Mary Shultz will set up a meeting with Lt. Haals.
D. Community Action Board - (CAB) - Randy Ross
Reported that CAB may change method of funding agencies applying
for funding from Human Development. No action taken by HRC.
E. Human Relations Commission/Commission on Status of Women
Work Project - Randy Ross - No Report
F. Martin Luther King, Jr. - Steve Francis
Steve suggested that David Lipp be appointed chairman of
sub -committee.
G. Kathy Brandon was appointed chair of the HRC Award subcommittee.
III. Old Business
Randy Ross reported for Fred Edmonds about progress on educational
symposium pertaining to sexual preference. Randy suggested members
participate on an individual basis as opposed to an HRC effort.
IV. New Business
Steve will write a statement for the newspapers saying that,
the HRC is opposed to the amendment asking English to be the
official language in Colorado.
