October minutes were approved as corrected after the second page of minutes was distributed. II. Committee Reports A. Committee of Executive Delegation (CED) - No report B. EEO/AA - No report. HRC will receive July and December reports. C. Police - A meeting will be set up with Lt. Haals to clarify changes in the police grievance procedure. Committee now consists of Fred, Rosemary, Kathy, and Robin. D. Community Action Board - (CAB) - Randy Ross Short report on status of agency allocations. E. HRC Award - No Report F. Human Relations Commission/Commission on Status of Women Work Project - No Report. G. Martin Luther King, Jr. - David Lipp Committee is getting organized. III. Old Business: A. Robin will join CAB as a new member from Fort Collins HRC. Her name will be presented to the County Commissioners and she will be appointed by them to CAB. B. Information Brochure - Steve and Susan will work on brochure using Greeley ordinance as a model. D. HRC Goals for year - Robin reported that Substance Abuse subcommittee had met. Subcommittee had many questions and did not submit suggestions. IV. New Business A. HRC training - Ed Gibbs asked for Commission input as to content of HRC training as discussed at last meeting. Suggested a daytime training open to public. Steve will work on this with Ed. B. Citizen Review Process - Police subcommittee will handle any grievances. Jaime suggested that in case of a tie vote (2-2) the grievance be brought to the whole Commission. Clarification: David can be present at a police subcommittee meeting, but can not sit in on a citizen complaint. Police subcommittee can establish ground rules for procedure to hear a grievance. Fred will report back on sub -committee's decision. V. Meeting Adjourned.
