I. November minutes were approved as received.
II. Committee Reports
Staff:
Jaime Mares
A. Committee of Executive Delegation (CED) - Susan
Ed Gibbs and Jaime had two examples of Fort Collins Human
Relations Commission brochures. Susan will look into a
possible revision or a rewrite.
B. Police - Fred
Fred, Rosemary and Kathy met with Jaime pertaining to the
changes requested by Chief Glasscock in the police grievance
procedure. Committee will meet with the City Attorney again
and the Chief to draw up proposed changes and bring this
proposal to the January HRC meeting.
C. EEO/AA - Kathy
Kathy met with Jaime and Ann Turnquist to find out about
the city's EEO/AA plan. Susan will work with Kathy.
D. HRC Award - Kathy
Mary reported that Human Development is willing to co-sponsor
the HRC award.
E. Community Action Board - (CAB) - Mary
Reported on Human Development grants to Human Service agencies.
F. Human Relations Commission/Commission on Status of Women
Work Project - Randy - No report.
G. Martin Luther King, Jr. - David Lipp
Program will be three days this year. Will operate on a grant
from CSU.

III. Old Business:
A. Appointment of additional Committee Member to Police Subcommittee.
One person from Police Subcommittee will abstain from voting on
each issue and voting will be done by other three members.
B. CCRD training update - Steve
Joe Cooper from Denver CCRD will present overviews of Civil Rights
Laws relating to employment at a Public Educational meeting in
January on a date yet to be decided upon from 2 - 4 p.m. in the
Council Information Center.
IV. New Business:
HRC sub -committees are asked to provide their goals for the 1989
year to Susan as soon as possible.
The new appointee to the HRC is Lucius Drake. He will attend
the January Meeting.
