Old Business Steve Francis reported he received a letter from the New Creations Health Club attorney in response to our letter. The letter asks what actions have taken place or will take place as a result of the letter. HRC members voted to send a response reminding them that the HRC is not an administrative body; we are acting in an educational capacity and we have filed a formal complaint. Moved, seconded, and passed 5-0. Susan commented that we must concentrate on educating larger populations and not merely continue to single out individuals for letters. Susan will check with Steve Roy to be sure that a procedure is in place for the filing of the complaint forms. IV. New Business The HRC voted 5-0 to send Randy's letter expressing dismay over the low level of funding for human services in the city to City Council. It was also agreed that we would sign this and similar letters under the HRC rather than under individual names. This would tend to make more of an impact it was felt. We will include the phone number of Employee Development as a contact. V. Announcements Jaime announced that Becky O'Donnell will be our new staff liaison. Jaime will still attend meetings on an occasional basis. Meetings will now be on the third Wednesday of the month. Next meeting: March 15, 200 W.
