I. Minutes approved as submitted. Becky O'Donnell was introduced as
new liaison to HRC.
II. Committee Reports:
A. Committee of Executive Delegation (CED) - Susan - No report
B. EEO/AA - Becky and Jaime handed out annual report.
C. Police - Fred
Fred reviewed the happenings of the last 2 months as to the
police grievance policy. The HRC will look over the procedure
at the April meeting.
D. HRC Awards Breakfast - Mary
Awards Breakfast will be May 5, 1989, at 7:30 a.m. at the Lincoln
Center Ludlow Rooms. On schedule.
E. CAB - No report
F. HRC/Status of Women Work Project - Susan
Panel on child care April 4, 1989, 7-9 p.m. at Plymouth
Congregational Church. There was no report on feedback from the
human service funding letter submitted by the CAB representatives.
III. Old Business
Steve provided an update on what has happened since four complaints
were filed. See letters in packet.
A suggested letter to be sent to businesses in violation of the
City's anti -discrimination policy was presented with the March
packet for review by the Commission.

IV. New Business
Lucius will serve on EEO/AA Committee with Kathy.
Due to a conflict of interest, Robin resigned from the Police
subcommittee. Susan will take her place.
Steve brought up an issue about insurance rates for women being
lower than rates for men. Steve moved that the HRC send a letter
to the insurance company that offers women insurance at a lower
rate than that offered to men saying that they may be in violation
of city statues. Seconded by Fred. Discussion followed.
