February 18, 1969
The regular monthly meeting of the Fort Collins Parks and Recreation Advisory
Board was opened at 7000 p.m. by the chairman, Mr. C. W. Peterson:
The minutes of the January meeting were approved.
Mr. Peterson announced that the annual election of officers would be held
and appointed Mr. H. R. Phillips chairman pro -tea for that election.
The following officers were nominated and elected individually by ecclsmatL=
Chairman . . . . Mr. C. W. Peterson
Vice-chairman . Mr. Cary Garwood
Secretary . . . Mrs. Willard 0. Eddy
Mr. Phillips returned the chair to Mr. Peterson.
Mr. Phillips then discussed the revised plan for Edora Park. Other possible
park sites were discussed.
A Dutch elm disease control program is being conducted by the city.
Mr. Phillips also gave a pro gross report on the golf course.
Mr. Larry James reported that all programs are going ahead and that there are
requests for more senior -citizen activities.
The meeting was adjourned.
