I. Call to order 4:00 p.m. - Ms. Sternlieb
II. Consideration of the agenda - no changes
III. Approval of minutes from the meeting of June 20, 1996.
Ms. Liska-Smith moved to approve the minutes as submitted
Ms. Dale seconded
Approved unanimously
IV. Drake Road artist presentation
Laura Audrey, the artist selected to present a more detailed
outline of her proposal and create a three dimensional model for
the Drake Road project was introduced to the Board. Ms. Audrey
began her presentation by distributing some additional background
information on her proposal and by explaining the model of the
proposed artwork. She also showed the board slides of her past
work and that of members of her production team. The board and
City staff members reviewed her latest design and model and asked
the artist questions about her proposal.
Ms. Liska-Smith moved to approve Laura Audrey's design for the
Drake Road Project as submitted by the artist at this meeting.
