A special meeting of the Human Relations Commission was held on December 22, 1998 in the
Facilites Division Conference Room, 117 No. Mason St.
HRC Members present: Viviane Abt, Leslie Frantz, LaMills Garrett, Lori Lenard, and Bob Lenk.
Staff Members present: Gabe Serenyi, HRC Staff Liaison
Greg Tempel, Assistant City Attorney
Sgt. Karen Carlson, Fort Collins Police Services
I. Meeting was called to order by Bob Lenk, Chair, at 7:20 p.m.
II. Bob Lenk announced that this special meeting was called at the request of Richard Carlson in
accordance with Section 2-263(3) of City Code. Since the officer under investigation did not request
an open meeting, the appeal will be heard in executive session in accordance with Section 2-71 of
the City Code. Bob noted that Mr. Carlson was not present. He had been invited to the meeting.
The meeting officially went into executive session.
III. The meeting adjourned at 8:25 p.m.
