In keeping with this goal, the Board decided to continue to review all projects on a monthly basis, lest smaller or time sensitive issues be lost in the larger project pool. It was also mutually agreed that the Landmark Preservation Commission (LPC) and Downtown Development Authority (DDA) should forge a closer link, by having a member of the LPC attend Board Meetings in a non voting capacity, to act as liaison. The following projects were undertaken and brought to completion: • Perennial Gardener • Remington Court • Linden's Bourbon Street • ADI building • Welch Building (Children's Mercantile) • Harmony Mill Projects considered priorities by the Board of Directors at the beginning of the year were as follows: • Court House • Poudre River • Parking Plan • Zoning • Pedestrian friendly alleys It has been rewarding to see these projects undertaken and to recognize the work done by the City, DDA and other entities, which have taken them beyond the planning stage to a point where they are now ready to take on substance. Other projects deemed priorities by the DDA are shown below: • Northern Hotel • East Mountain Avenue • Jefferson Truck Traffic • Hotel/Convention Center • Housing • Day Care • Cultural Improvements Two new members were appointed to the Board of Directors in 1995 they are Jason Meadors and Kermit Allard. Ed Baldwin's term of office was complete and a plaque in appreciation for his service was presented. Councilman Chuck Wanner continues as liaison to DDA from the City Council.
