Bob :recapped the meeting with City Council, saying, that he felt tie interchange had beer a good one. A letter of resignation from a;eue Batternan, was read. There are now two vacsAncies Ain this Advisory Board, H, R. Phillips gave a progress report on Chico '•;artinez, concerning use of a city vehicle by an unauthorized person. Chi-,,- has been suspeuded for five drays by the city, pending further investigation. A seminar wll be held in Cheyenne, starch 25--26, for lay Parks and Recreation Board members, Further dircussion on this will take place at the February m<seting. Survey of City Recreation: Dwain Miller explained that his recreation class will conduit the aurvey., Us.nF a city map divided into zones, students will randomly sample cltizeas whose names are obtained from the electrical billings, The same questionnaire used in 1973, will again be used. Students will present survey resul;;s to the Board at the March meeting, and also to City Council. There will be a picture and newspaper article concerning the student survey. Clara Donohoe showed Longmont's Parks and Recreation calendar printed as tray liners for McDonal.d's Drive-ins. Bob Hunt will check with Dick Powers oz the local, McDonald's concerning the possibility of their sponsorship for t,ay liners or brochures with Fart Collins Parks and Recreation activities, Publicity for activities would best be printed in March for spring„ May for summer, August for fall, and December for winter. For the bus tour for City Council and Advisory Board, a suitable time to see programs in act_an would be in summer or fall., To see open sparse lands, a summer bus trip would be best, There are 90-100 fewer boyG this velar in the elementary school basketball program as compared to the 1976 season.
