FORT COLLINS PARKS AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT
PARKS AND RECREATION ADVISORY BOARD
REGULAR MEETING: November 24, 1980 - 6:30 P.M.
The meeting was called to order at 6:45 P.M.
** A quorum was not present, so no official Board action could be taken**
DEVELOPMENT OF ROLLAND MOORE PARK
Z.V.F.K. consultants, Carr Bieker and Glenn Konen, gave a slide presentation
on Moore Park, answering questions about the neighborhood concept and future
community park development. There was a discussion between Board Members and
staff. Those present now seem to favor this phased development of a neighbor-
hood concept, if financing for the Community Park is not available.
Board members present agreed that the December meeting of the Parks and
Recreation Advisory Board should be held during a luncheon session at
12:00 noon on Tuesday, December 9, 1980 (in the Downstairs Conference Room)
prior to the City Council Work Session that day.
Streetscape Median Detention Pond Policies
Tim Buchanan gave a brief explanation of this document. He informed Board
Members of suggested changes to the document as per various comments; and
requested that if Board Members had further comments or input, to provide
them to him as soon as possible.
Projected O&M hosts for New Capital Development
H.R. referred to this document, which was distributed tonight. Board action
on development of Detention Pond Park sites will be requested in January.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:41 P.M.
