Toss Wilson in- tro-duc& the members of the City Commission and briefly stated the func- tion cs VA, commission, Mr. Wilson gave the number and names of the nom- mitteer ',:a.'t make up the commission and also gave the function of each. He stated that the next meeting of the commission would be August 26th and thy-. Kl. the meetings were open to the public. Mr. Wilson announced his al.;enda and began by introducing the first speaker:: 1. uobn 7avid Sullivan - Legal counsel to the commission. Mr. Sullivan explained the Federal and State laws as they pertain to rental hous- ing specifically the fair -housing Act of 1958.
