Porte Avenue, Fors.: Coll.ii+, Colorado on Monday, January 13, 1969, at; seven thirty O'clock in the evening. Present: Mr. Eugene Smith Mr. Thomas Wilson Mr, Joe A. Coria Mr. R. The following officers were elect+:d for 1969: Mr. Thomas Wilson - President Dr. Parker Pwable - Vice -President Mrs. David Larders -- Secretary Mr. Thomas Wilson reported that the City Council had reappointec Chief Ralph M. Smith to the Commission and also the following members for terms of three years beginning November 22, 1969: Dr. James Ragin 18A Aggie Village' 482-9773 Mr. John R. Moore 622 West Mountain ',venue 482-6293 Mr. R. Earl Kiely 924 Pioneer Avenue 482-3878 These four replace Dr. S. F. Sohn`der, Mrs. John Matsush_.ma, Mr. Henry Chavez, Mrs. Mary Anderson and Mayor Karl Carson. Dr. Albert W. Nelson ,sas commended f,)r a job well done in 1968, as chairman of the Grievance and Inesigation Committee. Dr. Nelson made a motion that the:: by-laws of the Commission be amended to provide for monthly meetings. K:;tion seconded by itr. Eugene Smith. A discussion followed and the motion was tabled until the next meeting which will be held .February 10, 1969, at the City Count-.'. Chambers. An announcement was made that th,> annual meeting of the Volunteer Clearing house would be held on Januavy 29, 1969, at '7z30 p.;,,. at St. Luke's Episcopal Church.
