IV. Objectives for 1982-83 Report: Postponed until next meeting.
V. Election of Officers from 1982-1983

VI. Appointment to Standing Committees: Postponed until next meeting.
VI I. Staff Report: Members Attendance Report
Mike Powers distributed report on staff attendance for past
year. Robbie Nayman and Joe Hernandez will be contacted
regarding attendance. (See attached copy of letter to Robbie
Nayman.)
VIII. Review of Proposed Policy for Appointive Boards
Discussion of Policy for Appointive Boards with recommended
changes as follows:
A. 18.1 Though this is a Charter Provision it is felt that
more clarification should be given to how and why Council
10 may remove commission members.

B. 18.2 Exceptions to this section should and does exist;
it should be so stated that Council may approve exceptions
to limiting someones membership to two terms.
C. Section VI. General Responsibilities. The following points
should be added.
1. Existing members not reappointed shall receive in
writing, prior to the next shceduled meeting, a letter
explaining why.
Dennis Liebert will write Council of proposed changes. (See
attached letter.)
IX. Other Business Iz
Sam Blanco suggested an every other month meeting. Further
discussion on frequency of meetings will be held at the next
meeting. Next meeting will be a combined meeting for November/
December and will be held December 8, 19827 4:30 pm, in the
Council Conference Room.
