MINUTES

I. In absence of chairperson Randy Ross, David Lipp conducted the
meeting.
II. Minutes approved as read.
III. E.E.O. Committee - Paul Loopo
Information on minority employment within the city by position was
distributed.
The Civil Rights Commission meeting was attended by several members.
Paul Loopo gave a short summary of the meeting. Paul made a request
for a breakdown of arrests and associated convictions. Chief
Glasscock indicated the data might not be available right away.
IV. Womens Task Force - Kathy Imel
Report was made on the Senior Women's tea and progress in general.
Paula Christina was appointed to replace Nora Carroll as HRC liaison
to the task force.

VII. Proposals for Issue of the Month
David suggested looking at the issue of eminent domain particularly
in regard to expansion of the hospital. He will look further into
the issue and report later.
Ed Gibbs suggested having Dr. Porter come and discuss the Colorado
Civil Rights Commission as an issue of the month,
Ernest Chavez suggested that additional proposals might better be
discussed at the retreat to be held in August.
VIII. The Next Meeting will be held July 17 at 4:30 p.m. in the CIC room.
Each sub -committee should ,plan on presenting a short summary of their
functions for the benefit of the newly appointed members,
