HUMAN RELATIONS COMMITTEE
MINUTES OF SEPTEMBER 16, 1987

Minutes were approved as corrected. (Retreat Minutes).
Members were given copies of the City's EEO/AA plan to read. Susan will
call members within ten calendar days for opinions. The City Attorney,
Steve Roy, did not approve the HRC's suggestions, so countered with a new
plan from the city.
Due to Chuck Griffin's resignation, there is an opening on the Commission.
After much discussion, it was decided not to submit suggestions of names of
interested persons to the City Council.
It was moved and seconded and passed that the HRC and Commission on the
Status of Women exchange minutes. This action resulted from the letter
sent to the Commission on the Status of Women by Paula Christina -Huddles.
Meeting was adjourned at 6 P.M.
