HUMAN RELATIONS COMMISSION
OCTOBER 21 1987
MINUTES
Meeting opened by the chairwoman, Susan Lamb. Susan introduced guests,
Mayor Larry Estrada, and Celeste Easley, who represented the Martin Luther
King Day Committee.

HRC Award - Susan
Susan will meet with Laurie Wolfe of County Department of Human Development
in November regarding co -sponsoring of HRC award.
EEO/AA - Paul
AIDS - Susan - Reported that AIDS was a closed issue.
Martin Luther King Committee - Celeste
Under old business, each member was asked to respond to the City's revised
EEO/AA plan. Jaime made a list of members comments. The plan will be submitted
to City Council on November 3. Commission members are invited to attend and
make comments.
Following Commission members comments, Mayor Larry Estrada responded to
comments.
Other business was postponed to the November 18 meeting. Susan announced
the Colorado Civil Rights Conference at the Hyatt -Regency in Denver from
8 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. on November 5, 1987.
Meeting adjourned at 6:10 P.M.
