I. Call to order 3:38 p.m. — Ms. Gram
II. Downtown Art Project
The selection committee reviewed the proposals, slides, models and illustrations from the
four finalists: Michael Hayden (Thinking Lightly), Tim Watkins, Juan and Patricia Navarrete, Sid
Cedering and Hans Van de Bovenkamp. Following the presentations the committee completed the
evaluation forms. The results of the evaluation forms were tabulated and presented to the
committee. The sculpture Thinking Lightly had the top score.
Mr. Sherman moved to recommend to City Council that the sculpture Thinking Lightly be
accepted for the Downtown Art project and that the sculpture by Tim Watkins is the board's second
choice.
