Consideration of the agenda III. Approval of minutes from the meeting of July 19, 2000 Ms. Dale requested a correction to her statement in "Other Business." It should read: "Ms. Dale requested that staff list park addresses in the staff reports when the parks are mentioned." Mr. Howe moved to approve the minutes as amended. Ms. Dale seconded Unanimously approved IV. Cottonwood Glen Park Proposal Review Ms. Martin reviewed the selection process. Ms. Colbert presented slides of the artists' previous works. The Selection Committee evaluated the proposals using the evaluation sheet provided by staff. Ms. Martin invited citizen input, but there was none. Mr. Stephens tallied the evaluation forms and the results were announced to the Selection Committee. Committee members discussed the applicants' proposals and decided to re -vote on the three top -scoring proposals. The committee decided to eliminate the step for three artists to give final presentations due to the small project budget. Ms. Dale moved to accept Christopher Weed's "Watermelon Slices' proposal. Ms. Gram seconded Unanimously approved V. Staff Reports — Staff distributed and discussed a written report on staff activities since July's Board meeting. VI. Other Business — Ms. Dale mentioned that the grass around the artwork at Utility Service Center needs attention and that the sound is not working. Staff explained that the buffalo grass takes a long time to develop and that the issue is being addressed. Staff will attend to the sound issue. VII.
