IX. Staff reports
Ms. Martin reported that the Fairbooke Pond project passed City Council.
Ms. Martin distributed the memo sent to City Council regarding the reappropriation of the
1996 funds that were put in the 1997 budget.
Ms. Martin updated the board on the status of the Harmony Library project which is
currently on hold because of the hiring of a new State Art in Public Places Coordinator.
Mr. Breimhorst reported that the City Manager had requested that all boards and
commissions submit to him any project they wanted to be considered as part of the new two year
budget (1998/1999). The board approved a memo that staff will send to him requesting that the
Art in Public Places program be reauthorized in 1998.
