GOLF BOARD MEETING
February 23, 1.976
The meeting was called to order by the President, Bud Crandall
The minutes were approved as corrected. Stew Case was not prosen.t at the
previous meeting.
Bud Crandall appointed the following members to the by-laws committee -
Dee Goodman, Chairman; Gary Garwood, Vero Schuster and Nell Davis
The 1975 Financial Report of both City Park Nine and Collindale was presented
by H. R. Phillips. Gary Garwood ;oohed this report be accepted; the motion
was seconded and passed.
John Renz reported that play was slow at City Park Nine because of weather.
New trees have been planted on several holes.
Neil Johnson reported Collindale on temporary greens. Work is progressing
on the pitching green. Ne" thanked the Parks and Recreation Department
for their needed help and a special "thank you" to Virg Taylor.
Requests for dates for Golf Tournaments were read. Those requiring actia,n
were voted on by the members.
A letter to all members of City Park Nine and Collindale, signed by
H. R. Phillips and Bud Crandall and concerning payment of dues and required
presentation of dues cards, was presented. The date of annual payment of
dues was changed from January let to March lot of each year. Gary Garwood
made the motion that this date be accepted and that 1976 membership cards
must be shown. The motion was seconded and passed. Cart rentals were
Increased to $8.00 for 18 holes and $5.00 for 9 holes.
A new and complete Tournament Request form will be used by organizations
having tournaments at either course. There is also a request form for the
use of either clubhouse. A fee is charged for the use of the kitchen
facilities at City Park Nine. The cost to 20 people is $10.00; 21-30 -
$15.00; 31-40 - $20.00 and 41 and over $25.00. Vern Schuster moved these
new fees be accepted. The motion was seconded and passed.
The meeting was adjourned.
