Collins CommunLty Center.. Minutes of last months meeting were rearl and approved. It was recommended to rebate Mrs. Matteson the difference between a combination for a single course vs. both courses. tors. Matteson requested by letter the rebate since her husband is hospitalized. Difference is $25. The board clarified its recommendation for season membership for Senior Citi- zens. If one person is age 62 and over, and the other person is under age 62, the board recommended the membership could be purchased at the Senior Citizen rate for both persons. Dee Goodman requested we. try to secure more powered carts for the .3 C's tournament at City Park Nine on June. 8 (3 C's-City Park Nine-Collindele.. Country Club). Lee Suniga withdrew the July loth Blue Belt Tournament for 1976. Tom Peck had received requests to fora a Men's Association at City Park Nine. It was felt that this was permissable since Collindals has both Men's and Women's Associations and City Park Nine has a Women's Association. The Intra-City Tournament (Carol Ward) requested green fees be waived for this event. The boaard voted to charge them green fees. The board re- viewed all tournament dates and, with some minor changes, approved over 16 major tournaments and 1.7 other small and special tournaments. The City Tournament will charge $20 entry fee, up from previous $15 fee, with the additional $5 split between the City and Country Club for green fees. Ap- proved by the board umbers unanimously. Discussion was held on the possibility of erecting some signs and a snow fence (temporary) for protection on #8 fairway at City Park Nine. Some golfers are subject to getting hit by golfers on the driving range when their ball is hit into the range area. H. R. is to check with the insurance people regarding another liability possibility on #9 fairway. Golfers using the driving range must cross the #9 fairway about one -halt of the way before getting to the range area. It was suggested golfers must cross to the north of #9 green when going to the range. H. R. will report at the next meeting. May 261h, beginning with golf around 5:00 pm, will be a golf social at City Park Nine. Board members and spouses will participate in this event.
