HomeMy WebLinkAboutGolf Board - Minutes - 04/19/19780 FORT COLLINS PARKS AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT GOLF ADVISORY BOARD April 19, 1978 The meeting was called to order at 7:30 P.M. by President Jim Mitchell. Tom Frazier reported on golf course play to -date. He also gave us the current status on the City Park Nine sprinkler system. Holes 5, 6 & 7 are currently in progress. A preliminary golf tournament was passed out. Our tournament policy has been questioned by the Poudre R-I teachers group. The Board voted unanimously to uphold the policy as it reads now. The Alonzo Martinez group requested a 7:00 A.M. starting time for their tournament. Since they meet the requirement of over 100 entrants, the Board referred them to work out the details with Bill Metier. Tom Frazier reported that Tom Peck has officially resigned from City Park Nine. Jim Greer has been recommended to fill the position. Presently awaiting City Council approval. Pineridge Property The City is currently renegotiating with the water resource consultant, M. Bittenger and Associates. Expected to be completed within 30 days. Saturday, May 27th, was designated as qualifying day at Collindale for anyone interested in playing in the "Jack comes to the Fort" day on June 28th._ Meeting adjourned at 9:00 P.M.
