Minutes
May 21, 1968
The regular monthly meeting of the Port Collins Parks and
Recreation Advisory Board was called to order by the acting
chairman, :airs. J. 0. Eddy, at 7:00 p.m., i;1ay 21, 1968.
The minutes of the April meeting were read and corrected.
There was some discussion on the dovelopmen:: of the golf course.
Information is being assembled for the proposed swimming pool.
Other reports indicated that Club Tico is operating satisfactorily,
th3 baseball schedule is full for the sumir.er, a new shelter has
been constructed at City Park, the swimming pool is ready for
the summer opening, all parks are being equipped, and informa-
tion is being gathered on the administration of the golf course.
The cemeteries are now under the direction of Parks and
Recreation.
All summer programs will start on June 10 except swimming and
tennis which will start on June 17.
The meeting was adjourned.
