Rosenthal, Mildred Arnold, Yetta Rollin, Roxanne Smock, Nancy Luttrop,
Members Absent: Joe Campanella, Patty Raco—Wunsch
I. Call To Order
Meeting was called
to order by Nancy Luttrop.
II. Review of Minutes, March 11, 1987
III. Report on Senior Board
Nancy passed out a survey on touching to be filled out by the participants.
We talked about the reauthorization of the Older Americans Act and the
problems of medicalization. Yetta brought up the National Association of
Senior Centers stand on catastrophic insuraice.
Pat needed clarification on his role with the men's club. Nancy explained
the meeting with Tale.TaF*& T ,
Sam reported on the status of the cab companie
— Yellow Cab $1.20 per mile currently, fter May 7th it will be 20
cents cheaper for seniors Cabs after midnight now are
$1.50 for seniors, it w 11 be $1.00. Shamrock Cab is
still struggling with discounts and the PUC and their
Denver compaiy.
Yetta was wondering if cabs charged from when they picked you up or
charged you from where they were to you.
Sam reported on the Lemay light crossing. So far nothing has been don
The Board suggested that a letter be written asking for the status of the
request at the February board meeting. Roxanne will write the letter and
present it at the next board meeting.
Arlene wanted to mention that next month is Senior month.
