COORDINATING COMMISSION FOR SENIOR CITIZENS
Monthly Meeting
May 10, 1972
The monthly meeting of the Commission was held at 3:30 p.m. on
May 10, 1972, in the City Council Chambers.
Commission members present: Mrs. Nancy Stegner, Chairman
Mr. Charles N. Shepardson, Secretary
Rev. C. H. Hinkhouse
Commission members absent: Mr. W. B. Peterson
Mr. W. J. Boggs
Dr. Harry Sobel
Dr. Douglas Murray
The meeting was called to order by the Chairman. Minutes of the
meetings of April 12 and March 8 were approved as mailed.
Senior Citizens Week: Mrs. Stegner reported plans for the week
were progressing as planned at the last meeting except that the
Hobby Show would be moved to K. C. Hall.
Tax Survey: Mrs. Stegner will deliver tax questionaires to
Mr. Shepardson for tabulation and distribution of results to
Commission members and Bergman and Bain prior to next meeting.
Senior Citizens Calendar: To be corrected to date by Mr. Shepardson
copies mailed to Commission members and Sargent.
Commission Replacements: The Council will be asked for a replacement
for Mrs. Mattingly immediately and for Dr. Murray and Dr. Sobel as
soon as their resignations are received.
Meeting adjourned at S:00 p.m. The next meeting of the Commission will
be held in the Council Chambers at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 14, 1972.
