COORDINATING COMMISSION FOR SENIOR CITIZENS
Monthly Meeting - January 10, 1973
The monthly meeting of the Commission was held in the City Council
Chamber at 3:30 p.m., January 10, 1973.
Members present: W. B. Peterson, Chairman
Helen Clarke, Vice Chairman
Charles N, Shepardson, Secretary
Rev. C. H. Hinkhouse
F. N. Jordan
Ed Martin
Members absent: W. J. Boggs
Jim Deitloff
Nancy Stegner
Visitor: Mrs. Nash
The minutes of the last meeting were approved as mailed.
Capital Improvements Program: Mrs. Nash, representing DT2 gave an
interesting 3Hd informative presentation of the proposed Capital Improvements
Program and the method of financing which is to be submitted to the electorate
for action on February 20, 1973.
After extensive discussion, the Commission voted unanimously to endorse
the program and encourage senior citizen organizations in the city to support
it in the election.
The Secretary was instructed to so advise Dr. Robert Dils, Chairman
of DT2 Steering Committee and also the various senior citizen groups.
The meeting adjourned at 5:00 p.m. The next meeting will be on
Wednesday, February 14, 1973, at 3:30 p.m. in the City Council Chamber.
