June 27, 1973
A meeting was called for June 27, 1973, at 3:30 p.m. in the City
Council Chambers.
Members present: W. B. Peterson, Chairman
F. N. Jordan
Ed Martin
Jim Deitlof£
Nancy Stegner
Charles N. Shepardson, Secretary
Members absent: W. J. Boggs
C, H, Hinkhouse
The minutes of the last meeting were approved as mailed. The purpose
of this meeting is to consider Home -Health Services' proposals being considered
by several agencies. This service is provided by trained personnel to do house-
work, shopping, and to observe health needs of elderly persons and report them
to a doctor or visiting nurse's office.
Mrs. Evelyn Glover from the Larimer County Welfare Department explained
her program for welfare clients in the County and her proposal for a plan for
non -welfare persons.
It was reported that Mrs. Marcel Wood and Mrs. Robert Brunton were
proposing a similar plan. It was decided to invite these ladies, Mr. Cal Goerdahl,
Director of Comprehensive Health Planning for the County, and any other interested
persons to our next regular meeting at 3:30 p.m., July 11, 1973, in the City
Council Chambers. All members are urged to be present.
The meeting adjourned at S p.m.
