COORDINATING CO?C3ISSION FOR SENIOR CITIZENS
December 12, 1973
The regular monthly meeting of the Commission was held in the City
Council Chambers at 3:30 p.m., December 12, 1973.
Members present: W. B. Peterson, Chairman
Charles N. Shepardson, Secretary

J. F. Conlon
Frances Bigelow
W. R. Dietloff
E. R. Martin
Members absent: C. E. Hommon
Also present: John McGraw
The minutes of the meetings of November 14 and November 23, 1973, were
approved as distributed.
Peterson and Shepardson reported briefly on the meeting with CSU
representatives, Mrs., Grumberg and Miss Conboy, regarding qualifications for an area
agency on aging.
Peterson and McGraw reported on an area agency planning meeting with
the state agency on aging representatives. The Larimer-Weld Agency on Aging
will be designated as the area agency for this area pending submission of an
action plan and budget and confirmation by the Larimer-Weld Council of Governments.
Such plan and budget will be developed at an agency meeting at 10 a.m., December 13,
1973, at the S $ L Office in Windsor.
There was a review of progress on our recommendations to the City
Council on home health care and Care -A -Van.
The meeting adjourned at 5:15 D.m,
The next regular meeting will be on January 9, 1974, 3:30 p.m., in
the City Council Chambers.
