August 24, 1988
The regular meeting of the Senior Advisory Board rescheduled to August 24,
1988 at the Parks Shop. Present were Kay Jones, Sam Rosenthal, Joe
Campanella, Margaret Watts and Barb Schoenberger. A quorum was not
present.
Joe Campanella opened the meeting by reading a Choices 95 letter stating
various projects under consideration.
Two members of the Amway Corporation were referred to the Senior Advisory
Board by the City Council and presented their proposal to raise money
through catalog sales. After the presentation, there was a period of
questions and answers. No decision was reached by the Senior Advisory
Board.
Joe outlined goals and objectives to be considered in subsequent meetings.
Meeting was adjourned.
