• )MMES OF THE MEETING OF THE FORT COLLINS WATER BOARD HEID MONDAY
AUGUST 8, 1964 AT 7:30 O'CLOOrIN COUNCIL CHAMBERS.
Present: President Ward Fisohers, Vice President Frank Ghentp Mayor
Harvey Johnsons, Secretary John Bartel and Board Member Fred Feit. Also
present were: City Manager Robert Boos.9 City Engineer G. J. Weiss and
Councilwoman Lorraine Quinn.
Board Member Norman Evans was absent.
Mr. J. T. Banner., H. T. Person and Harry John gave a very fine
report on the progress of the water and serer study.
Mr. Elmer G. Longwell and Robert Baker of Boettcher & Co. were
present., after considerable discussion of financing it was agreed to
postpone argthing further until a more complete survey had been presented
by the consulting engineers.
is The Council Members at their meeting of July 23, 1964 referred the
application of a water tap by Donald L. Knapp to the Water Board for
their recommendation# as he only had Ja share of Mercer Ditch Co. water
to offer.
Motion was made by Secretary John Bartel seconded by Vice President
Frank Ghent that approval be witheld until Mr. Knapp obtain more water
to apply against this application and purchase of the J share of Mercer
Ditch Co. be turned down as it was useless to the City at this time.
The notion was made and duly carried by the unanimous vote of the members.
With nothing further to be brought up at this time the Board adjourned.
