JANUARY, 13, 1964p AT 7:30 O'CLOCK P.M. IN THE COUNCIL CHAMBERS.
Present: President Ward Fischer, Vice -President Frank Ghent,
Mayor Harvey G. Johnson, Secretary John Bartel and Board members
Norman Evans and Fred Feit.
Also present were City Manager Robert F. Boos, Councilman L. J.
McMillan and Coucilwoman Lorraine Quinn.
Mr. Orley 0. Phillips and Mr. J. D. McGillis of Phillips,
Carter, Osborn, Inc., Consulting Engineers from Denver, Colorado,
were present and were interviewed by the Board on making a water
study for the City of Fort Collins. After the interview the meet-
ing was opened for discussion and selection of an engineering
firm.
• The following motion was made by President Ward
Fischer and seconded by Vice -President Frank Ghent:
"Be It Resolved:
That the Water Board proceed to select a consulting
Hydrological Engineer or Engineering Firm to be retained to make
a water supply feasibility study for the City of Fort Collins.
Such consultant to work under the supervision and direction of the
Water Board." The motion was put and duly carried by the unani-
mous vote of the Board.
After considerable discussion, motion was made by Vice -
President Frank Ghent, seconded by Fred Feit, that W. W. Wheeler
and Associates of Denver, Colorado, meet with the Water Board
at the next regular meeting as possible consultants to make the
• water survey. Alternate to be Wright Water Engineers also of
Denver, Colorado.
• With nothing more to be brought up at this time the
Board adjourned.
