Call to order 3:38 p.m. -- Mr. Tollison II. Consideration of the current agenda III. Citizen Participation: none IV. Children'sGarden Project: Ms. Martin presented Jim Clark with the city's Horticulture Dept. / Gardens on Spring Creek Facility. Andy Dufford is the selected artist, chosen from the Design Consultant Resource List. Mr. Clark presented the garden project concepts for the Children's Garden Project at the Gardens on Spring Creek Mr. Needham motions to commit the required money for the project Mr. Howe seconds Unammously approved V. Police Facility Project: Mr. Tollison introduced the project. Ms. Martin provided a project overview. The RFP states: $10,000 for design; and an approximate budget of $230,000 for art. The selection committee reviewed submissions. Nineteen proposals were submitted for this project. Discussion on selection results; review panel is looking for artists with wide range of experience with various materials and large project experience. Ms. Hixon-Cunningham moves to accept Chevo Studios as the artist, with David Griggs as alternate Mr. Tollison seconds the motion For the motion: Cori Hixon-Cunningham, Ray Tollison, Alan Howe, Lee Needham Abstain from motion: Libby Dale Motion passes VI.
