Present: Alison Johnston, Penny Vincent

Call to Order: 6:00
Announcements: none
Business:
1. Elections of Officers: Tabled until quorum is met.
2. MNWood Award: Letters to community will go out on Friday, Jan. 16, 2004.
Women's Award Night is March 4`h. Plaque needs to be ordered. Alison will
check into the cost. Nominations are due Feb. 20.
3. Essay Contest: Date was set for March 31, but was to be revised because of
Cesar Chavez Day. Essays due back to Commission on . To
be done: look for certificate template; print one for archives; create letter for
winners; set date for reading essays.
4. 2004: Alison will forward emails on 2 applicants. Alison reported having
called Cathay Reynolds and Glenn , County Commissioners, about a
joint commission. She had had no response, and planned to try again. Penny
and Alison talked about partnering with the Education and Life Training Cntr.
And the Women's Center in 2004. 2004 meeting times will be adjusted to fit
schedules.
