Present: Alison Johnston Hade, Kristin Chatnani, Beth Etter
Absent: Penny Vincent, Stacey Arnold
Call to Order: 6:15
Announcements: "Not only is she a woman....... It's a man's sport though, so she really
didn't have a place here." Coach Gary Barnett, CU
Business:
1. Introduction of new member, Beth Etter.
2. Elections of Officers: Tabled until quorum is met.
3. Annual Report: discussed and tabled until work plan is approved.
4. Marcile N. Wood Award: Each member will read and email Barb with scores.
Alison will give results to Diana Larson. Award will be announced at the
Women's Award Night is March 4 h. Alison will be present.
5. Essay Contest: Essays are due back on February 27 h and Kristin will pick
them up on March 1st. The commission will meet on March 1s` at 6:30 to
review the rubric for scoring the essays. March 24`h the Mayor will present
awards. Beth will contact Eileen's Cookies. Alison will contact DBA and
Kristin will contact the mall for gift certificates. Human Resources Office will
supplement the award. Kristin will email the award certificate form to Alison.
6. Alison will continue to try to contact the Education and Life Training Center
about partnering.
